Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines rules and guidelines for using Loom’s products and services. By accessing or using Loom, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Loom’s services to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Transmit, distribute, or store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Engage in or promote discrimination, hate speech, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Infringe or misappropriate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
- Send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
- Engage in phishing, fraud, or other deceptive practices.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful code or software.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, networks, or systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Loom’s services or data.
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or similar methods to access or collect data from Loom without permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with Loom or others.
- Collect or harvest personal information of others without consent.
- Engage in activities that could harm Loom’s reputation or business interests.
3. Security and Abuse
- You must not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Loom system or network.
- You must not bypass or attempt to bypass any security or authentication measures.
- You must promptly report any security vulnerabilities or incidents to Loom at sales@loom.technology.
4. User Content
- You are solely responsible for any content you upload, post, or transmit via Loom.
- You must not submit content that violates this AUP or any applicable law.
- Loom reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
5. Enforcement
- Loom may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP.
- Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, removal of content, legal action, and/or reporting to authorities.
- Loom reserves the right to enforce this AUP at its sole discretion.
