DMCA Policy
1. Introduction
Loom respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This DMCA Policy outlines our process for addressing claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Loom’s designated DMCA agent with a written notice containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including information reasonably sufficient to permit Loom to locate the material.
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send Loom’s DMCA agent a written counter-notification that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or where Loom is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or their agent.

4. Repeat Infringers
Loom may terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
5. Misrepresentations
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
